Encore une expérience complètement dingue ! J’en ai la boule au ventre rien que de revoir toutes ses photos ! J’ai découvert le travail de Sam Hurd (http://www.samhurdphotography.com) quand je me suis lancé. Le genre de photographe qui vous met une claque, une grosse claque. Il est américain alors quand j’ai appris qu’il donnait un workshop près de Londres, j’ai sauté sur l’occasion, littéralement. Et vu que j’adore voyager, j’ai réservé un petit hotel juste génial à Brighton (http://www.snoozebrighton.com), histoire de visiter un peu avant de me rendre au workshop. J’ai pu alors découvrir ce charmant coin de l’Angleterre et me rafraichir les idées (oui passer de 40°C à 20°C ça fait un choc !).

Après mettre gavé les yeux de plage, de petites rues tortueuses, de briques rouges et autres joyeusetés anglaises, je suis parti en direction d’une ferme dans un coin complètement pommé, lieu dans lequel allé se dérouler le workshop. Imaginez, une ferme au milieu de nul part, décorée avec beaucoup de gout, il n’en fallait pas moins pour que je tombe amoureux ! A mon arrivée j’ai rencontré un Sam juste adorable et le reste de la troupe tous aussi sympa les uns que les autres !

Pendant ces 2 jours, Sam nous a délivré tous ses secrets, et il en a un paquet… ! C’est dingue de le voir travailler, de voir toutes les idées qu’il a, il est très inspirant. Et j’ai pu partager beaucoup avec les autres photographes, qui sont maintenant des amis. C’était encore une expérience humaine complètement dingue, un peu surréaliste, mais tellement enrichissante ! J’ai hâte de mettre tout ça en pratique pour encore faire évoluer mon style ! Merci à vous tous pour ça, à Lisa et Alexa pour l’organisation, à Sam pour son incroyable talent, à Kat et son homme de Rock n Roll Bride pour avoir posé pour nous, et un merci particulier pour Ash et Eirik avec qui j’ai eu un peu plus de temps pour faire connaissance.

Another great and crazy experience ! I have a knot in my stomach just to see all this pictures! I discovered the work of Sam Hurd (http://www.samhurdphotography.com) when I started, 9 month later. The kind of photographer who puts you a slap, a big slap. He is American so when I learned that he was giving a workshop near London, I jumped at the opportunity, literally. I love traveling, so I booked a small beautiful hotel in Brighton (http://www.snoozebrighton.com). I could then discover this charming place of England and refresh my mind (yes from 40 ° C to 20 ° C it’s a shock!).

After giving to my eyes incredible thing : beach, small winding streets, red bricks and other English stuff, I went in the direction of a firm in the campaign, place in which the workshop will happen. Imagine, a farm in the middle of nowhere, decorated with taste, it was enough for me to fall in love! When I arrived I met an adorable Sam and all the rest of the group as nice as each other !

During these two days, Sam delivered all its secrets, and he has a lot …! It’s amazing to see him work, to see all the ideas that he has, it’s very inspiring. And I could share a lot with other photographers, who are now friends. It was another crazy human experience, a bit surreal, but so inspiring ! I look forward to put it all into practice and make evolve my style! It was really an epic workshop and epic experience !
